B12 is a vitamin that is not produced by the human body but essential to health and wellbeing. B12 is only available through diet and/or supplementation. Low levels of B12 may be due to malnutrition or poor diet. Intestinal issues may also cause low levels due to absorption issues. Low levels of B12 may also be related to anemia and can be a result of excessive alcohol consumption. Those with low levels of B12 may find they experience more fatigue, brain fog, dizziness and other symptoms. High levels of Vitamin B12 are not normally considered alarming or concerning.
